After extensive refit in winter 2018-19 Amokura is embarking on an offshore racing campaign in the 2019 season.  This started with the RORC Myth of Malham race and will be followed by the Volvo Dun Laoghaire to Dingle race, culminating in the 2019 Rolex Fastnet Race.

Amokura is entered two-handed in these races by first time offshore racers Paul Moxon and Steve Jones.

Paul Moxon has owned Amokura since 2012 but only started racing her in 2018 in the Hamble Classics.  Steve Jones is also a wooden boat enthusiast with his own Folkboat. The  two first sailed together in 2015 when they sailed Amokura from Palma to Falmouth to be re-rigged.
